Pep Guardiola dropped Joe Hart for his first match
as Manchester City manager, raising further
doubts over the England international's future.
Willy Cabellero got the nod in place of Hart for the

John Stones makes his debut in the centre of
defence, but lines up alongside left-
back Aleksandar Kolarov in a central position.
Yaya Toure was also not included in the City
squad, despite being fit.
Asked about how important Hart was to his plans
in the lead up to the game, Guardiola told a news
conference on Friday: "It is not really the time to
talk about that the markets
"Joe is a player I'm so happy about his qualities,
about his behaviour and what he means to this
club. After we are going to decide inside the
doors. Now, he is a player of us."
Guardiola has signed eight players so far but Hart
could be part of an exodus of players in the final
weeks of the transfer window. And the Catalan
says City could remain active in the market.
"Aug. 31 is the last day [of the transfer window],"
he said. "We are going to see at that time which
players will stay, which players are going to be
loaned, which are going to be sold and which
players are coming.
"We are going to see, these three weeks, how is
the game, how is the team, how is the smell. With
Txiki [Begiristain], with the chairman, we are going
to talk about that. We are going to decide."
Elsewhere, Jermain Defoe was passed fit for
Sunderland while Moyes selected on-loan
Manchester United forward Adnan Januzaj on the
bench.
